Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podoliak announced the first four steps towards the start of peace negotiations.
The politician said this on the air of a telethon .
According to Podoliak, this is about a ceasefire in the energy infrastructure, the Black Sea, and the air, followed by an unconditional and comprehensive ceasefire.
"The first four steps are a ceasefire. Then you can negotiate for a long time, but without war as such. That's the problem, because Russia cannot negotiate if it does not simultaneously strike at the civilian population. Because then it will not have any significant arguments," the advisor to the head of the OP noted.
As Apostrophe reported, the US and Ukraine agreed to ensure safe navigation, exclude the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes in the Black Sea .
In addition, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated: Russia's movement of its military vessels beyond the eastern part of the Black Sea will be considered a violation of the spirit of this agreement, a violation of obligations to ensure freedom of navigation in the Black Sea, and a threat to Ukraine's national security.
In such a case, Ukraine will have the full right to exercise the right to self-defense.
