Ukrainian-born Congresswoman Spartz believes that Ukraine should return occupied territories to Russia

A member of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party, Victoria Spartz, believes that Ukrainians must come to terms with the transfer of their territories to Russia.

Spartz is quoted by the British newspaper The Telegraph.

"I just don't understand how they can be positioned to demand that the land be preserved. If they had won the war, it would be a completely different matter," she said.

Spartz also supports US President Donald Trump's decision to negotiate with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

"President Trump inherited this, so now he has to deal with it," she said.

Spartz, who lived in Ukraine for 22 years, was a supporter of U.S. support for Ukraine, but last year she voted against a $61 billion aid package, accusing the Zelenskyy government of corruption and opposing the distribution of “blank checks.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump commented on Russian strikes on Ukraine .
