Russia is waiting for a signal from Ukraine to resume negotiations.
This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
"From Kyiv. At least, Kyiv should take some action in this regard. They have a legal ban on this. But so far we don't see any action," the Kremlin representative said.
Earlier, on April 26, during a meeting with US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff, Vladimir Putin declared his readiness for negotiations with Ukraine without preconditions.
Also, the Foreign Minister of the terrorist country, Sergei Lavrov, said that Moscow is ready to reach peace agreements, but there are certain elements that need to be finalized.
As a reminder, the administration of US President Donald Trump has held several separate meetings with Russian and Ukrainian officials. Trump stated that his goal is to end the fighting in Ukraine as soon as possible. The American side, as it became known at the end of last week, has proposed its peace plan, which involves Ukraine giving up Crimea.
"Apostrophe" has already written about proposals for ending Russia's war in Ukraine, which US special envoy Steve Witkoff presented to European officials.
In addition, Ukraine, together with the European Union, conveyed to the United States their vision for ending the war with Russia.
