Ukraine and the EU will introduce dual "COVID-19 passports"

Ukraine has agreed with the European Commission on the compatibility of Ukrainian and European COVID passports. Work in this direction will continue so that in 2021 Ukrainian tourists can travel around Europe, as was announced by the Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on his Facebook page.

Ukrainian Prime Minister said on Sunday that Ukrainians will be able to travel around Europe in 2021 with a digital certificate about the immunity from COVID-19, which will be compatible with the Green certificates of the European Union.

The EU digital certificate will confirm that:

- a person has been vaccinated against COVID-19;

- received a negative test result;

- recovered from COVID-19.

"The compatibility of the Ukrainian and European certificate will allow Ukrainians to travel around Europe without restrictions," Shmyhal stated.
