The international court of justice in June will begin hearings in the case of Ukraine against Russia on violation of the two conventions.
This is stated in the documents of the court.
Thus, a hearing in the UN International court of Justice on Russia's violation of the conventions for the suppression of the financing of terrorism and the prohibition of all forms of racial discrimination is scheduled in Hague for the period June 3 to 7. The hearings will be devoted to the preliminary objections of the Russian Federation.
"The court will hold public hearings from Monday 3 June to Friday 7 June 2019, at the Peace Palace in the Hague," the report said.
According to the schedule, the first round of oral arguments will be held on Monday, June 3 at 10:00, and Russia will present its arguments. The next day, also at 10:00, Ukraine will present its arguments.
The second round is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, at 10 a.m., Russia will have the word. The next day, June 7, at the same time – Ukraine will have the word. The hearing will be broadcast live on the court's website.
To recap, on January 16, 2017 Ukraine filed a lawsuit against Russia in the International Court of Justice. The international court of justice considers a claim for violation of the Convention on the prohibition of the financing of terrorism and the Convention on the prohibition of racial discrimination.
