​The Head of the Supreme Anti-corruption Court was elected in Ukraine

In Kyiv, after three rounds of voting, the Head of the Supreme Anti-corruption Court was elected.

This was reported by the correspondent of "Apostrophe" Maryna Shashkova.

The Head of the new court is now Olena Tansevych, ex-judge of Pechenehy District court of Kharkiv region. In the third round she received 23 votes.

Before the first ballot none of the candidates received necessary number of votes (Pavlyshyn (14), Tansevych (15) and Halabala (9). The same situation was repeated in the second vote (Pavlyshyn - 15, Tansevych - 16). 20 votes were required to elect the Head of the court.

To recap, according to "Apostrophe", on April 11, President Petro Poroshenko by his decree of April 11, appointed the judges of the Supreme Court of Appeal of the Anti-corruption and Anti-corruption high court.
