Border blockade will be partially canceled: what Ukraine and Poland have agreed

The Polish-Ukrainian border, where Polish carriers have been protesting since November 6, is partially unblocked. The parties managed to find a consensus.

This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

As noted, the following points were agreed first of all:

opening of the checkpoint "Uhryniv - Dolgobychuv" for empty trucks transit;

establishment in the "Equeue" system separate passes for empty vehicles at the checkpoints "Yahodyn - Dorohusk" and "Krakivets - Korchova";

launching of a pilot registration in the "Equeue" system immediately before the border crossing at Nyzhankovychi - Malhowice checkpoint for one month.

Before that, the Polish side demanded from Ukraine to cancel the mandatory registration in the electronic queue for trucks returning from Ukraine to the EU without cargo at least at two checkpoints: "Zosyn - Ustyluh and Nyzhankovychi - Malhowice.

Poland also insisted on the return of international licenses for Ukrainian road carriers.

Earlier, Poland said it was ready to unblock the border if Ukraine fulfill its demands.
