Luhanska oblast
Russian forces conducted local offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatovo-Kremenna line in Luhansk Oblast but achieved zero success.
Simultaneously, Ukrainian forces repelled at least seven Russian attacks near Synkivka and six attacks at Terniv, Veseloye, and Rozdolivka along the Kupyansk axis.
Donetska oblast
Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanovske, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka. The Armed Forces also continued offensive operations near Bakhmut.
ISW reports that Russian forces conducted offensive operations near Avdiivka on December 7th, making slight advancements to the east of Stepove and southeast of Avdiivka.
The Ukrainian General Staff has reported that Ukrainian forces successfully repelled Russian attacks to the east of Novobakhmutivka and in the vicinity of Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske. Additionally, Ukrainian troops thwarted Russian attacks near Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka.

On December 7th, Russian forces continued counterattacks in the western part of Zaporizhia Oblast but did not achieve any confirmed successes. Ukrainian forces repelled several Russian attacks near Robitino and Novoprokopivka, as well as to the west of Verbovе.
Ukrainian forces maintain positions on the eastern bank of the Dnipro River. Simultaneously, Russian military reduced aviation activity over the Black Sea after a Su-24M bomber was shot down near Snake Island on December 5th.
