A difficult period has begun on the frontlines of the Russian-Ukrainian war, but Ukraine will withstand, there will be no Armageddon.
Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov said this during a TV marathon.
Summer offensive
The Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said that Russia's summer offensive continues since mid-May. The situation is difficult, but all is not lost.
"I repeat once again - there will be no Armageddon. Don't worry, we will withstand and win," Budanov said.
He also said that enemy subversive reconnaissance groups are making attacks in the border regions of Ukraine, in particular Sumy Region. However, the Defense Forces have done and are doing everything to prevent a large-scale offensive.
Strikes inside Russia
According to Budanov, strikes with Western weapons against Russia will ease the situation. Russian horror stories about the alleged red lines are just a publicity stunt.
New military installations in Crimea
Budanov said that in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Russians have deployed the latest S-500 air defense systems. They have not been tested.
He also mentioned the Kerch Bridge. Currently, it is used for military transportation, including personnel.
Earlier, Apostrophe wrote that Ukrainian military captured dozens of occupiers in the Kharkiv Region.
