Missing 20-year-old Ukrainian model Maria Kovalchuk has been found in Dubai in critical condition. The girl disappeared over a week ago and her family suspected she might have been sexually abused.

Previously, Kovalchuk was found in the hospital in critical condition: with fractures of her arms, legs, and spine. Moreover, she was without documents and a phone. She underwent complex surgeries, allegedly three surgeries, and the girl is currently unable to speak.
There is also evidence that on March 9, the girl was seen at a party in the company of two men who called themselves representatives of the modeling industry. The next day, the model told her mother that she planned to stay with them for the night, but after that, communication with her was lost. On March 11, Kovalchuk was supposed to go to Thailand, but this did not happen.
The girl's relatives were frightened after all this and assumed that she could have been sexually exploited. The girl's mother, Anna Kovalchuk, noted that the police are now investigating the circumstances.
Maria Kovalchuk arrived in Dubai on February 15, worked as a model and participated in the international campaign Boris for Peace!, which was dedicated to political scientist Boris Kagarlytsky, sentenced in Russia to 5 years for an article about "justifying terrorism."
