On Wednesday evening, January 11, Russians launched two S-300 missiles on the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. At the time of the attack, there were more than 30 civilians in the building of the hotel complex.
This was reported by the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov.
Currently, it is known about 11 victims: four of them - men aged 31 to 38 years, seven - women aged 23 to 71 years.
The Head of the Regional Military Administration also reported that nine victims were taken to medical institutions. Currently, one of the victims, a 35-year-old man, is in a serious condition, 8 patients - in a medium and light condition, 2 - received medical assistance on the spot.
According to the city mayor Ihor Terekhov, Turkish journalists are among the victims.
In addition to the hotel, residential buildings, a car showroom and a production facility were damaged.
A crater at least three meters deep was reported near the hotel. A high voltage power lines located at the bottom of the crater ignited the fire. Rescuers extinguished the fire.The facade of the building, balconies, awnings, windows, window sills were completely blown off by the blast wave.
