On Tuesday, April 9, Russian troops shelled Kostyantynivka in Donetsk Region once again - the consequences of the attack became known, and the death toll increased to three people.
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine on its Telegram channel.
The report says that the death toll from yesterday's enemy air strike on Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Region, has increased to three people - rescuers have found two more bodies:
"Rescuers unblocked the bodies of 2 dead people (a 42-year-old woman and a 12-year-old child)."
It is noted that yesterday rescue services found and pulled out the body of a dead man from the rubble.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine adds that emergency rescue operations at the site have been completed as of 11:23 a.m. In their Telegram channel, they showed several photos with the consequences of yesterday's attack on Kostyantynivka.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine emphasized that yesterday enemy aircraft hit a two-story building in the town of Kostyantynivka, causing its partial destruction.
"Rescuers eliminated the fire of construction debris and removed the body of 1 dead man born in 1964," the statement said, noting that today they found the bodies of a woman and a boy.
The National Police of Ukraine also showed several images of the strike on its Teleram channel.
"Russia dropped three KAB-500 guided air bombs on Kostyantynivka, one of them hit a residential building. One person was killed, two more - a woman and a child - are probably under the rubble. Two residents were injured," the report said as of 10:11 a.m.
