Representatives of Ukrenergo point out that Russian troops launched a missile and drone strike on the civilian infrastructure of Sumy Region - there is damage to the high voltage facility of NPC Ukrenergo.
It is noted that the restoration work began immediately after the alarm went off: "Emergency repair work began immediately after the alarm was canceled. Ukrenergo's repair teams are working on the gradual restoration of electricity supply to consumers."
In addition, the company also mentions an attack on power facilities in Kharkiv Region. Ukrenergo writes that "yesterday evening, due to the protection action, the equipment of the local regional energy company was turned off". Most of it has already been repaired, but the ongoing hostilities near energy infrastructure facilities prevent a full restoration of power supply.
"Repair work is carried out depending on the security situation," Ukrenergo emphasizes.
