As a result of the Russian attack on the village of Mykhailivka in Donetsk Region, two people were killed, including a child, and one woman was wounded.
This was reported by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine.
"According to the investigation, on June 3, 2024, at 11:20 a.m., the Russian army attacked the village of Mykhailivka in the Novohrodivska territorial community. As a result of the attack, probably with the use of an UMPB D-30SN glide bomb, one woman was killed. At 12:40 p.m., the occupiers shelled the settlement again. This time they used Smerch multiple rocket launchers. The weapon hit the territory of the private sector. A 12-year-old boy died of life-threatening injuries, and his mother was wounded," the statement said.
It is noted that several households in the village were damaged.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was launched in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Armed Forces," the press service added.
