In the city of Truskavets, Drohobych district, Lviv region, teenagers beat a disabled boy.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region.
" Yesterday, March 19, while monitoring social media, police discovered a video in which several teenage girls punch and kick a boy, probably with a disability," the police said.
Later, the police reported that they had identified the teenagers involved in the beating of a boy in Truskavets.
As established by law enforcement officers, the incident occurred on March 19, at around 8:00 p.m. on Mazepy Street in Truskavets. Four girls and one boy aged 11-14 committed hooligan acts against an 18-year-old disabled boy. At the same time, they filmed a video, which was later posted on one of the social networks.
"In the event, investigators of the Lviv region police initiated criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment - restriction of liberty for a term of up to five years or imprisonment for a term of up to four years," the police reported.
