Where in Russia did drone attacks take place and what were the consequences?

Ukrainian drones attacked Volgograd, Rostov, Kursk, and Belgorod regions on the night of March 21.

This is reported by Russian media and local publications.

In the Volgograd region, the Kalachivsky district, where the Marinovka military airfield is located, was attacked by drones. In August last year, it was already attacked and burned down. However, today's official reports did not mention it.

At the same time, Telegram channels and Russian pro-war bloggers reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly struck the Sudzha gas metering station in the Kursk region, through which gas transits to Europe. Similar information was also spread by Ukrainian sources, but official agencies have not yet commented on it.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 43 Ukrainian drones. 34 of them were shot down over the Volgograd region, the rest over the Rostov, Kursk, and Belgorod regions.

Meanwhile, a fire continues in the Krasnodar region at an oil depot damaged by a drone attack two days ago. According to the latest data, an explosion and release of petroleum products occurred there. Two firefighters were injured, and the fire spread to another tank with petroleum products, increasing the area of the fire to 10,000 square meters. About 500 people are involved in extinguishing the fire.

This is the Kavkazskaya station, which is used to transship Russian oil to the pipeline system of CJSC Caspian Pipeline Consortium. This infrastructure plays a role in the transit of Kazakh oil.

" Thus, two tanks, valves, petroleum products in the embankment around the tanks, and the part of the burning petroleum products that was thrown out of the tanks by the explosion are now burning ," local authorities said.

As Apostrophe reported, on the night of March 20 , a Ukrainian Long Neptune missile struck the Engels airfield in the Saratov region.
