On the night of Thursday, April 3, Russia attacked Ukraine, launching 39 strike drones. Ukrainian defense forces eliminated 28 strike drones, and another 7 simulator drones were lost in the field without negative consequences.
This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the report, the Russian air attack began at 9:00 PM on April 2. The enemy launched 39 Shahed strike aircraft and simulator drones of various types from the following directions: Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Kursk.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. As of this morning (09:00), it was confirmed that 28 Shahed attack UAVs (and other types of drones) were shot down in the north and east of the country.
Another 7 enemy drones-simulators were lost in location without any negative consequences. At the same time, the Air Force clarifies:
"As a result of the Russian attack, the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions suffered."
