On the night of April 5, Russia launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine, launching 92 drones — Shahed strike UAVs and simulator drones of various models. The attack was carried out from several directions: Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and from the temporarily occupied Crimea — the Chauda district.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups were deployed to repel the air strike.
As of 09:00 AM, 51 drones have been confirmed destroyed. Enemy targets were successfully shot down in the northern, southern, eastern, and central regions of the country. Another 31 imitation drones were lost in location and did not cause damage.
Unfortunately, as a result of the attack, damage was recorded in a number of regions - Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Zhytomyr regions were affected.
