On the Kursk front, SSO soldiers destroyed a North Korean platoon in close combat - a total of 25 North Koreans were eliminated.
The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are reporting on the successful work of the fighters.
According to the report, soldiers of the 6th Ranger Regiment of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took action against regular North Korean troops in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
During the quick contact, SSO operators destroyed 25 North Korean soldiers.
"These events took place last month, but due to operational security, we can only now talk about it and show the video from the drone and body cameras of the SSO soldiers," the SSO press service emphasizes.
Eight Rangers in an armored Humvee advanced behind enemy lines. With the support of reconnaissance drones, they reached direct engagement range and took up advantageous firing positions in the trenches.
"The SSO operators began close combat against an enemy platoon of 25 people - three times their number - and retained the initiative until its completion," the SSO emphasizes.
The SSO fighters, despite the numerical superiority of the enemy and enemy artillery fire, still proved the superiority of quality over quantity, leaving the entire DPRK platoon no chance during contact.
After successfully completing the task, the group of rangers withdrew.
We also recall that earlier the General Staff confirmed the destruction on April 23 by Ukrainian forces of a Shahed drone production plant in Tatarstan, located 1,000 km from Ukraine.
