Putin threatens South Korea over possible supply of lethal weapons to Ukraine

In response to the possibility of South Korea supplying weapons to Ukraine, Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin threatened Seoul and said it would be a "very big mistake."

This was reported by Yonhap News.

The South Korean government has said it will reconsider its position on supplying weapons to Ukraine after North Korea and Russia signed an agreement that provides for immediate military assistance in the event of an attack on one of the parties.

"As for the supply of lethal weapons to the combat zone in Ukraine, it would be a very big mistake. I hope it will not happen. If it does, then we too will then make the respective decisions, which South Korea's current leadership is unlikely to be pleased with," Putin said.
