On November 19, 2021, the civic association "Narodna Varta" appealed to the Main Office of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kiev with a request to start an investigation and initiate a criminal case against the citizen of the Russian Federation Herman Lillevali, according to "Golos".
According to activists, Lillevali founded the "Ankor Invest" investment company in 2010 (director Olga Ksinari).
"In May 2020, the Kommersant newspaper reported that criminal cases were immediately initiated against five managers of Ankor Invest. The investigation believes that all these methods were developed by a more advanced criminal group, which appropriated more than 150 million means of investors. In June 2020, the Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow arrested Lillevali durante absentia, after which the head of the investment fund was put on the international wanted list on charges of large-scale fraud. He is accused of creating a financial pyramid, with the help of which he has drawn in about 200 million of depositors' funds in several years. Lillevali is currently hiding (presumably in Cyprus)", is said in the text.
The letter signed by Igor Grishachov, the head of Narodna Varta and ATO veteran Maksim Tropotyaga says that Ankor Invest has "accumulated funds to finance the separatists - militants of the DPR and LPR, which contributed to the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine", journalists says.
The signatories of the letter ask the Security Service of Ukraine to investigate these facts, criminal proceedings against Lillevali and Ksinari, as well as the named investors who are sponsors of this financial structure. Among them are prominent public figures, Ukrainian-phobic artists (for example, Nikita Mikhalkov, who has repeatedly expressed his position on Crimea), as well as relatives of Ukrainian ex-officials and politicians.
Grishachov and Troopotyaga promised to provide additional information about Ankor Invest investors at the earliest possible time.
