The Ukrainian holding GNT Group remains the target of an ongoing wave of black PR, and it simply cannot be involved in smuggling schemes, despite active accusations in the Ukrainian media throughout last week, regarding the format of grain export organization in Ukraine.
This was stated by the economic observer and expert Oleksii Holobutskyi.
The expert notes that the Odessa terminal, owned by GNT Group, is legally prohibited from requesting brokers for documents regarding cargo ownership and origin.
"He does not have such authority. However, there is an obligation to immediately inform competent authorities of several equipment details, which must verify the legality, compliance, and generally everything possible, to confirm the conclusion of the agreement. Or not confirm. The terminals themselves do not have authority for this," notes the economic observer.
Oleksii Holobutskyi emphasizes that such informational injections are a continuation of the process of raiding the assets of the Ukrainian holding, which has been ongoing for several years.
"Olimpex Coupe International has been trying to raid for over two years, and its companies from the USA (because the business is profitable, and war-torn Ukraine is considered, apparently, incapable of protecting its private businesses, although they don't seem to be protecting anyone from raiding even without the war)," emphasizes the expert.
Recall that earlier media reported that Argentem Creek Partners used administrative pressure and black PR for the raiding seizure of GNT Group's business.
