In the period from 7 to 13 April 2019, the Election Fund of Petro Poroshenko spent UAH 97 million on election campaigning, and the Election Fund of Volodymyr Zelensky – UAH 50.4 million.
It was reported by the press-service of National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).
NAPC approved an analysis of the interim financial reports of the election funds of the presidential candidates.
According to the NAPC, from 7 to 13 April Poroshenko's Election Fund und was formed at the expense of the candidate's own funds in the amount of UAH 99.9 million. Of these, UAH 97 million were used.
Zelensky's Election Fund was formed at the expense of the political party - UAH 44.59 million.
Totally Zelensky used UAH 50.4 million for the campaign. NAPC indicates that Zelensky used the funds received from the savings account to the current account, the balances on the current account at the beginning of the reporting period and the amount of refund by the contractor under the contract concluded in the previous reporting period.
