Debris from one of Russian missiles fell near the US Embassy in Kyiv on Tuesday, January 2.
This was reported by the acting Head of Shevchenkivskyi District State Administration of Kyiv, Oleksandr Popovtsev, during a TV marathon.
According to him, the epicentre of the damage in the Shevchenkivskyi district was Olena Teliga Street near the Dorogozhichi subway.
"The debris of the shot down missile fell into the park area. Fortunately, no one was injured. There are smashed windows in about 10 houses. Utility services are working there. And we also have minor rocket debris in the area of the US Embassy," he said.
Let's remind, shooting down the "Kinzhal" launched by the bombers, Air Defence worked in different regions of Ukraine, including Kirovograd and Cherkasy Regions. As a result of the attack, debris fell in Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, Obolonskyi, Svyatoshinskyi and Podilskyi districts of Kyiv.
