Trump plans a meeting with Putin: the date was named

As reported by Reuters, the US President Donald Trump plans to meet Russia’s leader Volodimir Putin in June at the G-20 summit in Japan.

“Trump stated that his meeting with Putin can be truly productive, especially after their trade conflict intensified as a result of an unsuccessful agreement during high-level negotiations last week,” the newspaper reveals.

At the same time, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov affirmed that Washington has yet to inform Moscow of any initiatives to meet.

“There have been no initiatives on Washington’s part yet,” Peskov stressed.
