Zelensky made a threatening statement regarding Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky harshly responded to the artillery shelling near Novoluhansk in the Donetsk region. The attack happened on the night of June 7 and took the lives of two Ukrainian soldiers.

The President affirmed that the AFU will respond to such attacks harshly and in accordance with the situation, as stated on Zelensky’s official website.

“Shelling of the Ukrainian troops is an obvious attempt to yet again sabotage negotiations regarding cease-fire. Whoever gives the order, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will respond harshly and in accordance with the situation. At the same time, our diplomatic position regarding a cease-fire and freeing the hostages remains unchangeable,” he noted.

Zelensky also believes that such actions illustrate that Russia loses control over the militants.

As “Apostrophe” reported earlier, two AFU soldiers died at the Donetsk region demarcation line, near Svitlodarsk, on June 4. Using anti-tank guided missile, the militants shot the truck that transported food.
