As House of Representatives voted to send the articles of impeachment for the Senate trial, Rudy Giuliani’s indicted associate Lev Parnas first spoke to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, revealing damning information regarding the Ukraine pressure campaign.
According to Parnas, Donald Trump canceled his September visit to Warsaw because Volodymyr Zelensky failed to announce the Biden probe.
“He used the excuse of the hurricane, but it wasn’t the hurricane. It was because he [Trump] was angry that Zelensky still didn’t make any attempt to make any announcement before he was going to meet him,” Giuliani’s indicted associate noted.
Parnas knew it was the case because he “spoke to Rudy about it every day”.
As a result, President Trump sent Mike Pence in his stead, tasking him with convincing Zelensky to make an announcement. After Pence failed to succeed, “Bolton went over there”. John Bolton resigned on September 10.
