Senate Republican Ron Johnson postpones Burisma subpoena vote

Governmental Affairs Committee decided to postpone a vote on subpoenaing Andrii Telizhenko, Rudy Giuliani’s so-called “complete witness”. Among other places, Telizhenko used to work for the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, Embassy of Ukraine in Washington D.C., and a lobbying firm Blue Star Strategies.

Telizhenko was supposed to provide his testimony and submit documents for the committee’s probe into Burisma Holdings, a gas company in Ukraine that paid Hunter Biden to serve as a board member.

In a note to committee members, Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Chairman Ron Johnson stated that the committee would subpoena the lobbying firm, Blue Star Strategies, instead.

There is no evidence of wrongdoing by either of the Bidens, and Hunter Biden has denied using his father’s position for business benefits.

As Apostrophe reported earlier, in his interview for Rudy Giuliani’s Common Sense series, Andrii Telizhenko’s story on Burisma, former Vice President Biden and his son was factually flawed and contradicted Ukrainian documents.
