The President of the United States assured his Ukrainian colleague that Washington won't leave Ukraine one-on-one with Russia.

"I'm not abandoning Ukraine, Americans will not abandon it either. If we don't stop Putin, we will expose the whole world to danger," Biden said.

He also noted that the U.S. will continue to provide weapons to Ukraine as long as there is an opportunity.

"$200 million in aid to Ukraine is one of the last tranches if Senate and Congress vote for it," Biden emphasized. He added that Russia "celebrate when Republicans block aid to Ukraine."

In his turn, Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Biden for the assistance and noted that Ukraine has liberated 50% of the territories occupied by Russia since February 2022.

"Now we are working on the advantage in the sky, this will strengthen our position in 2024. Who controls the sky controls the duration of the war," Zelensky said.

Also the President of Ukraine excluded the possibility of giving up the occupied territories.

"We are talking about living people who are killed, raped. To give up the territory - to give up children. Whether people who talk about this are ready to give their children to terrorists?", - Zelensky stated.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine spoke in the US Senate about the current problems of security and economy in the country.
