There are changes: Congress announced progress in negotiations on aid to Ukraine

Lawmakers from both sides of the U.S. Congress announced positive expectations for negotiations on migration reform, required for providing aid to Ukraine and Israel. However, the timing of a potential agreement remains uncertain.

This is reported by The Hill.

Democratic Senator Joe Manchin said that a potential border deal could be agreed upon as early as this week.

Democratic Senators Chris Coons, Chris Van Hollen and Republican John Cornyn also expressed their thoughts that the talks have made significant progress.

Senator Chris Coons noted that he hopes a potential agreement will be reached this week. At the same time, Senator Lindsey Graham said he expects negotiations will continue next year because, according to him, the parties are no closer to a common solution.
