The first step has been taken: the US Congress has approved an important decision on aid for Ukraine

On Friday, April 19, the U.S. Congress voted to bring up the issue of providing aid to Ukraine.

This was reported by Apostrophe with reference to the US House of Representatives.

The House voted on 4 bills on foreign aid, including aid to Ukraine. This is the initial vote for the submission of these bills for consideration.

On Saturday, April 20, the House is expected to consider amendments and vote on the four foreign aid bills (starting around 20:00 Kyiv time). After that, the package will go to the Senate.
