Spain is preparing to provide Ukraine with $1.23 billion in military aid - the package will include Patriot missiles, Leopard tanks and other weapons.

The report notes that Spain plans to send Patriot missiles and Leopard tanks to Ukraine as part of a €1.13 billion ($1.23 billion) arms package announced last month.
The military aid will include:
- a dozen critical Patriot air defense missiles;
- 19 used German Leopard 2A4 tanks;
- other Spanish-made weapons, including, in particular, anti-drone weapons and ammunition.
It is noted that new commitments to supply weapons will be announced during the official visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Madrid, which is scheduled for Monday, May 27.
The total cost of the aid package was approved last month by the government, although it was not yet specified what kind of weapons it would include.
