US Congressman comments on broader use of American weapons

During the visit of a bipartisan delegation of the US Congress to Kyiv, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Mike Turner indicated that he supports the broader use of U.S. weapons to strike inside Russia.

This was reported by DW.

It is noted that Republican Mike Turner voiced his position on Ukraine's use of U.S.-supplied weapons inside Russia during the visit of a bipartisan delegation of the US Congress to Kyiv. According to him, this position is "broader than the position of the US Presidential Administration." Here's how he commented on it:

"My position is broader than the Administration's position. I believe that Ukraine should be able to use the weapons it is provided with for legitimate military targets. My position matches the position of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. He said that in his opinion, Ukraine should not fight with one hand tied behind its back, that it should be able to respond to attacks from Russia, but at the same time have the right to hit military targets."

At the same time, the Republican also emphasized the increase in the production of weapons coming from Russia, commenting on it as follows: "It's a math problem, and I think it should be possible to use military force to respond to this problem as well."

Earlier, we also wrote that the U.S. will provide Ukraine with new air defense systems to protect the business of American investors.
