The Central Election Commission has registered the former head of the Viktor Yanukovych’s Presidential Administration Andriy Klyuyev as a candidate for the national deputies.
According to the department’s press service, he is running for parliament in the 46th majoritarian district (Donetsk region).
The decision to register Klyuyev was supported by the majority of voters.
In addition, today the CEC decided to register blogger Anatoly Shariy as a candidate.
On June 23rd, the CEC denied Kyuyev registry as a national deputy. Later, his lawyer said that the Cassation Administrative Court at the Supreme Court overturned the decision.
In Ukraine it is known that Klyuyev is suspected of taking state property, abusing his official position.
Earlier, “Apostrophe” reported that the European Union lifted sanctions against Klyuyev.
