Belarus claimed that Ukraine was supplying weaponry for terrorist attacks: Ukrainian MFA responded

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine categorically denied the claims of the Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus Ivan Tertel regarding the large weaponry supplies from Ukraine to Belarus.

This was announced by the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko.

The Chairman of the KGB of Belarus said that large shipments of weapons were supplied from Ukraine to Belarus for supporting the terrorist attacks in the country.

"From the territory of Ukraine, large batches, huge batches of weapons were delivered to the territory of Belarus for further use and destabilization of the situation. There were several terrorist acts planned both against the whole state agencies and particular individuals, including the threat of many people,” Tertel was cited by the Naviny.by news portal.

According to Tertel, Belarus has sent to Ukraine "inquiries with facts, surnames, phone numbers of the persons involved" through the Prosecutor General's Office.

"We haven't received any answers. Regarding Olinevich's group, the formal response was made about the informality of the request. This does not correspond to our partnership relations with Ukraine and, we believe, it poses a threat to such relationship in the future," the head of the KGB of Belarus stated.

Ukraine categorically rejects the information announced by Ivan Tertel, Chairman of the State Security Committee of Belarus.

"It's not the first time it's been heard from Belarusian officials. Complete nonsense! We categorically reject the old mantra about "weapons from Ukraine". The Belarusian authorities should finally stop frightening the Belarusian people with a far-fetched external enemy," the speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko tweeted.
