The first batch of the Chinese coronavirus vaccine was exported to Ukraine

The first batch of the Chinese coronavirus vaccine CoronaVac has been prepared for shipment to Ukraine.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Ukraine in China. The corresponding photos were published.

The message specified that these CoronaVac inactivated vaccines were registered by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine on March 10 this year and passed all stages of clinical trials, officially confirming the effectiveness and safety. It is now widely used to protect the population from the pandemic in China, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Turkey, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and several other countries.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine signed a contract with the Chinese company Sinovac Biotech, according to which Ukraine will receive 1.9 million doses of coronavirus vaccineat the price of 504 UAH per dose.

As was earlier reported by Apostrophe, the export of the Indian vaccine CoviShield, which is used in Ukraine, is temporarily suspended to provide the drug to the population of India during the outbreak in the country.
