Ukrainian Armed Forces pilot Vladyslav Rykov was killed while performing a combat mission. He made 385 combat sorties.
This was reported by Rostyslav Lazarenko, a fighter pilot of the AFU.
"He flew 385 combat missions - he was the best pilot and commander I have ever known. He had my back from the beginning of the full-scale war both on the ground and in the air, and trained a large number of both combat pilots and copilots," he wrote.
According to Lazarenko, the tragic event occurred on February 7, 2024.
