On January 25, it became known that a former player of Kyiv "Dynamo", midfielder Serhiy Rozhok, died at the front.
About it informs the portal Dynamo.kiev, referring to Telegram-channel "Buchansky football".
As noted, Serhiy was only 38 years old. Football club "Dynamo" expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
"We sincerely grieve together with you. Eternal memory to the Hero of Ukraine!", - stated in the message.
The press service recalled that the player stayed in the club's system until 2005, but did not rise above "Dynamo-2". After leaving "Dynamo", he played for Ukrainian and Belarusian clubs. In particular, for Tavria, Desna, Obolon', Kryvbas, and Chornomorets. He was also involved in the ranks of the youth (U-17) and youth (U-21) Ukrainian national teams.
Ex-football player of "Dynamo" Oleksandr Aliyev wrote on his page in social network Instagram words of sorrow in connection with the death of Serhiy Rozhok in the war. The two played together in "Dynamo-2" from 2002 to 2004.
"Seryoha, I can't believe it, you were a very good support player and a real warrior. Heavenly kingdom to you, sleep in peace," Aliyev informed.
