The situation at the war front remains tense. Over the last day alone, 84 combat engagements occurred at the frontline. Active fighting is taking place in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions.

In addition, the enemy launched 1 missile and 47 air strikes, as well as 97 attacks with multiple rocket launchers at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements. More than 120 settlements came under enemy fire.

As for the massive attack, the General Staff notes the following: "At night, the Russian occupants once again attacked Ukraine with a massive missile attack. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are injured among the civilian population."

It is noted that a number of high-rise buildings and other civilian and energy infrastructure facilities were destroyed and damaged: "Detailed information is being clarified".

Situation at the frontline

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions remains without significant changes.

In the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border. The Defense Forces prevented the infiltration of an enemy subversive reconnaissance group near the village of Palna in Kharkiv Region.

In the Kupyansk direction, 16 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Synkivka, Pishchane, Berestove in Kharkiv Region; Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled three attacks near Nevske in Luhansk Region and Terny in Donetsk Region.

In the Bakhmut direction, 17 attacks were repelled in the areas of Verkhnekamianske, Vyimka, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Ivanivske, Novyi and Andriivka in Donetsk Region.

In the Avdiivka direction, 27 attacks were repelled in the areas of Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Prohres, Yevhenivka, Novoselivka Persha, Umanske, Netaylove in Donetsk Region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Kostiantynivka, Vodyane and Urozhayne in Donetsk Region, where Russians, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 11 times.

In the Orikhivsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 6 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk Region; Robotyne and northwest of Verbove in Zaporizhzhia Region.

In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units out of the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, over the past day, it launched three unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops.

During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces and missile units also struck at the Russians, in particular, they hit a 2C4 Tyulpan self-propelled mortar, a command center, 1 fuel and lubricant depot and 5 areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
