Syrsky explained the massive Russian airstrike on Ukraine by the critical losses of the occupiers at the front

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky commented on the massive combined Russian strike on Ukraine. He recalled that the occupiers are suffering critical losses at the front and have no strategic gains, so they choose to strike at civilian infrastructure.

He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"The Russian Federation committed another terrorist act tonight - it launched a missile and drone strike on Ukraine ," he recalls, noting: " The occupiers, suffering critical losses at the front and not having any strategic gains, are acting using terrorist methods - they are striking at civilian infrastructure, at our cities, killing women and children."

Syrskyi indicates that the enemy struck Kyiv and Kyiv region, as well as Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy regions, and Zaporizhia.

"The actions of the occupiers prove once again: the Russian Federation does not want peace. All its activities are the targeted killing of Ukrainians and the destruction of Ukraine. I express my sincere condolences to the families of the deceased... Every crime will receive a response. Everyone who gave criminal orders to attack the civilian population, and everyone who carried them out, will suffer a just punishment," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes.

Recall that during the night, Russia launched 215 air targets over Ukraine , including missiles of various types, strike UAVs and drone simulators. Air defense forces eliminated 48 missiles and 64 UAVs. Another 68 enemy drone simulators were lost in the field without negative consequences.
