On Saturday, May 4, the Russian-backed militants attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Donbas 16 times, wounding one soldier.
This is stated in the summary of the staff of environmental protection.
As noted, out of 16 attacks, three were carried out using 120 and 82 mm mortars prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
"The enemy also shelled our defenders from the armament of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms," the statement said.
As a result of the attack of the Russian occupation forces, one Ukrainian military was wounded. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders inflicted heavy losses on the enemy with retaliatory fire: according to intelligence data, two invaders were eliminated, two more were wounded.
On the night of May 5, the militants attacked OOS positions twice. There are no losses among Ukrainian defenders.
