Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that Ukraine faces a threat of "separation of several regions".
The speaker's statement was published on 30 November on the State Duma website.
In such way Volodin commented on the disruption of the speech of pro-Russian "representatives of Crimea" at the UN Forum on Minority Issues held in Geneva.
"Nationalism and oppression of minorities may lead to the withdrawal of a number of regions from Ukraine. It must be taken into account by Ukrainian authorities to prevent violations of the rights and freedoms of ethnic groups living on the territory of the country," he said.
Volodin said that the rights of national minorities in Ukraine are allegedly constantly violated.
We shall remind you that a Russian Duma deputy, Konstantin Zatulin, spoke about Russia's plans for negotiations in the Normandy format and the Kremlin's plans.
