Two regions in the lead: how COVID-19 spreads in Ukraine

On March 23, 11 new coronavirus cases have been registered in Ukraine. A total of 84 cases were reported in the country.

The number of cases in different regions today:

Kyiv - 29 infected

Chernivtsi region - 23 infected/1 dead/1 recovered

Kyiv region - 10 infected

Ivano-Frankivsk region - 3 infected/2 dead

Dnipro - 2 infected

Lviv - 2 infected

Ternopil - 1 infected

Zhytomyr region - 1 infected/1 dead

Donetsk region - 1 infected

Uman - 1 infected

As of March 23, 10 new cases were registered in Kyiv region, and one more in Ternopil region.

Thus, Kyiv city and Chernivtsi region are the leading ones in Ukraine by the number of infected with COVID-19. Kyiv region is in third place.

At the same time, Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Ukraine does not plan to impose a state of emergency in the nearest future.
