The number of Kyiv citizens infected with COVID-19 has increased to 40 people. On March 26, the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko reported six new coronavirus cases.
According to him, a 35-year-old woman and five men of the age from 28 up to 70 are infected. One of the infected is a military.
"Four people are in Oleksandrivska Clinical Hospital. A 70-year-old military man is in a military hospital, and one patient is in self-isolation at home," the mayor said.
At the same time, Klitschko did not mention where the individuals could have gotten infected.
As of March 26, 156 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Ukraine. After Klitschko's briefing, the number has increased to 162.
