The first-ever official delivery of military drones to Ukraine from Germany, namely from the German company Quantum, took place. They will be used to adjust the artillery.
This was reported by Ukrainian journalist Yuri Butusov.
The cost of such an unmanned aircraft "Vector" is about 200 thousand euros.
"A great event - yesterday the German company Quantum announced the first-ever official delivery of military drones to Ukraine, which will be used in combat operations," Butusov wrote.
“Vector” will soon be tested in combat conditions by specialists of one of the volunteer units.
The ultramodern Vector drone has vertical takeoff and landing, an anHD-40LVoptical location station with a laser rangefinder, which gives it a great advantage over any Russian drone of this class.
"A worthy competitor for our Stork-100 and Polish Fly eye-3. Quantum tests have already been carried out in Ukraine, they will soon be at the front line. Mass supplies of such “Vectors” will be able to equip the troops with modern means of adjustment,"said the journalist.
Earlier, Apostrophe reported that Germany would give 2 billion euros to Ukraine for the purchase of military equipment.
