On Friday, Ukrainian troops congratulated Russian occupants on February 23 in an original way by destroying an enemy A-50 aircraft, and continue to work on February 27, when a Su-34 was shot down on the eastern direction.
This was reported by the Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk on his Telegram channel.
"Minus one more Su-34 on the eastern direction! Yesterday, Russian pilots managed to evade our missiles, but this will not always be the case! Therefore, I advise the occupants to see their families before each flight, just in case. Because who knows whether they will be lucky or not this time," the message reads.
The Su-34 is a Russian fighter-bomber created to replace the outdated version of the Su-27 military aircraft. It was designed to hit air targets more accurately and to allow air forces to conduct precision air strikes against ground targets.
Earlier we reported that Air Defense Forces destroyed two X-59 guided missiles and 11 Shaheds within Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Khmelnitsky and Kirovograd Regions.
