As a result of an enemy strike that the occupiers launched on the morning of March 25, a ballistic missile destroyed an educational institution in Kyiv: missile fragments were recorded in several districts of Kyiv, and the number of victims has increased to five people.
The consequences of the shelling are reported by the State Emergency Service in its Telegram channel.
The message states that the missile attack damaged the three-story building of the gym in the Pecherskyi District of Kyiv, adding that at the moment it is known about two victims, to whom doctors are providing the necessary assistance:
"Preliminarily, 2 people were injured, to whom doctors are providing the necessary assistance. Search and rescue operations are ongoing at the site. Rescuers are dismantling the rubble. "
However, at 11:42 a.m. Vitaliy Klitschko published a new message, where he indicated that the number of victims in the Pecherskyi District had increased to five:
"There are already five victims in the Pecherskyi District. Three were treated by medics on the spot. Two were hospitalized."
The State Emergency Service also indicates that preliminary there is a fall of debris in Holosiivskyi, Dniprovskyi and Solomianskyi Districts, but there are no victims: "At the moment, rescuers are examining the territory."
The report mentions the damage to a private house in the Darnytskyi district, as well as the discovery of missile debris in a forest strip in the Holosiivskyi District.
"Rescuers are working at all locations, law enforcement officers are conducting investigations," says the post.
"Apostrophe Kyiv" with reference to mass media also reported on the destruction of an educational institution by a ballistic missile. It is noted that the building is completely destroyed, but at the time of the impact the building was closed, so no one was inside.
A video of a destroyed educational institution also appeared online.
Later, the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy clarified that an enemy missile destroyed part of the building of the Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design named after M. Boychuk. The central part of the building was destroyed:
"...the sports hall, the congress hall and the exhibition center were completely destroyed. The premises of the departments and the auditorium of the institution were also significantly damaged." They indicate that there were no casualties, but the Head of the Academy's laboratory got injured and was hospitalized.
The National Police of Ukraine is already working at the sites of debris fall, recording the fall of fragments of enemy missiles in the Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi Districts of the capital.
