The enemy has switched to new tactics and is using weapons from the 1930s: what is the situation in the Bakhmut direction?

The situation in the Bakhmut direction remains difficult - the enemy conducts daily shelling and bombardment with artillery, and has started using shells from the times of World War II.

Volodymyr Nazarenko, an artillery officer with the "Rubizh" Brigade, told this on the air of Apostrophe TV.

"Among the innovations in the enemy's tactics, - he is increasingly trying to use his artillery in addition to bombing. The Russians are using adjustments. Each shell is an amendment in order to "squeeze" something out of that Soviet scrap metal as accurately as possible. I'm not sure if the enemy succeeds in this," he said.

According to the military, as weather conditions improve and daylight hours increase, logistical conditions change, and the enemy is using UAVs more actively. At the same time, with the approach of summer, the trees will turn green, which will significantly impair visibility. But living conditions are much easier in summer.

Volodymyr Nazarenko said that the enemy has an advantage in ammunition.

"They are bringing in Soviet decommissioned systems, but unfortunately, they work. The shells they fire explode and cause destruction. What can we say if the enemy uses mortar systems made in 1937 and 1938? I'm not talking about other gun systems from the World War II," the artillery officer summarized.

Earlier, we wrote that the situation in the Avdiivka sector is difficult, but under control.
