On the night of April 11, the enemy once again carried out a massive missile and drone attack on Ukraine. Explosions were heard in most regions of Ukraine, with most missiles targeting Stryi, Lviv Region.
Apostrophe has collected all the information about the attack on Ukraine on April 11.
Kharkiv and the region
As of 5:30 a.m., it was known that Kharkiv suffered the most from the massive missile attack - at least 15 ballistic missiles were fired at the city. The Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov wrote that there might be problems with power supply in the city as a result of the shelling:
"Considering where the Russian aggressor is aiming, there may be problems with power supply in Kharkiv. The subway will not work for the next few hours, so plan your routes accordingly."
The smoke caused by the 'arrivals' could be seen in Kharkiv and the region, but there is no official information yet. Some of the strikes hit the region's infrastructure. "The occupiers have struck at least 10 times at the critical infrastructure of the city of Kharkiv and the region," wrote the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Oleh Syniehubov.
Lviv and the region: Stryi
Telegram channels reported that the Russians had launched several Kinzhal missiles in the direction of Stryi in Lviv Region. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also warned of a missile in the direction of Stryi.
It was noted that most of the explosions were heard in Stryi, Lviv Region. After all, the enemy directed almost all of the Kinzhal missiles that were fired at Ukraine in this direction. In addition, other types of cruise missiles were also seen flying over the city.
Monitoring publics noted that the enemy was launching Kinzhal missiles from eight MiG-31K aircraft instead of four.
Stryi was attacked that night with both Kinzhal missiles and Shahed drones. Obviously, the enemy wanted to hit an important critical infrastructure facility.
The Head of Lviv Regional Military Administration (RMA), Maksym Kozytskyi also wrote about the threat to Stryi. As of 6:18 a.m., he said that additional reconnaissance was ongoing in the Lviv Region. Air defense was working in the city and the region.
Ivano-Frankivsk Region
Explosions were also heard in Ivano-Frankivsk Region, according to Suspilne correspondents: "Explosions were heard in Ivano-Frankivsk Region".
Kyiv Region
At 4:16 a.m., an air alert was announced in the capital. The KCMA reported that the Kinzhal missile was moving in the direction of Kyiv, but later it turned out that it had changed direction to the west. However, some monitoring channels noted that air defense was working in the Kyiv Region.
Later, it became known that a critical infrastructure facility was hit in the Kyiv Region.
The alert in the region lasted more than five hours.
"So far, there has been no information about victims or fatalities. All emergency services are on the scene, and the fire is being extinguished. All detailed information will be provided later," the Kyiv Regional Military Administration (RMA) wrote in a statement.
Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions
It is worth noting that most of the missiles entered the airspace through Zaporizhzhia and Sumy Regions. It was also reported about the work of air defense there.
South
The Head of the Joint Coordination Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, noted that the occupiers attacked energy facilities in the south with drones. However, the Air Defense Forces and means were working there.
"There were some hits," she said, noting that Russians struck open territory, and the consequences are being investigated.
Here is how she commented on the attack on Ukraine:
"The enemy attacked energy facilities during the drone wave. They continue to terrorize industry, the energy system and everything that supplies Ukraine. Such attacks are concentrated around important facilities. On the example of yesterday in Odesa Region, I would like to note that the enemy uses double-strike tactics and strikes where restoration work is being prepared."
Poland
Poland was forced to raise its aviation due to a massive attack on Ukraine by the enemy on April 11. This was reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces on Facebook.
"The planes of Poland and its Allies are operating in the airspace, which may be due to the increased noise level, especially in the southeastern part of the country," the post reads.
