Russia strikes Odesa with ballistic missiles: Nova Poshta terminals are destroyed, many injured. Photos and video

Last night, on May 1, Russia attacked Odesa with ballistic missiles. The number of victims is 14 people, the strike hit the post office warehouses, and there is significant damage at the site of the hit.

Apostrophe has collected the latest information about the attack as of May 2.

Oleh Kiper, the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration (RMA), wrote on his Telegram channel at 01:38 a.m. that the Russian missile attack on Odesa had damaged civilian infrastructure, including postal warehouses, and smashed windows in the surrounding buildings. As of that time, elimination of the fire was underway.

Kiper noted that 14 people were injured: "One man was hospitalized in a moderate condition. All others were treated on the spot."

Law enforcement officers recorded another crime of the Russians against civilians - Kiper showed some photos from the site of the strike.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports that the enemy attack on the warehouse caused a fire at the site: "A large-scale fire broke out at the site, which was extinguished by firefighters."

It is noted that the State Emergency Service involved 68 rescuers, including psychologists, and 19 vehicles.

Nova Poshta also wrote about the location of the hit, noting that the missile hit the sorting depot and the Nova Poshta office: "There are no dead or injured among our employees."

Representatives of Nova Poshta also said that the estimated value of all parcels that were destroyed as a result of the attack would be fully compensated to customers.

The co-founder of Nova Poshta, Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, also clarified that the attack took place at depot 1 and cargo department 4 of Nova Poshta in Odesa: "18 people who were on shift managed to hide in the bomb shelter." However, he also emphasized that, according to preliminary data, about 900 parcels could have been damaged.

Earlier, Apostrophe reported that the Office of the Ukrainian Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights was damaged as a result of Russian attacks on Odesa.
